There is a place near Arlington called Gators...They have won WingFest in Chicago 8 years running.

They have a pizza there that is their special garlic hot sauce in chicken, with blue chesse crumbles all over the pizza, now, I am usually not down for things like this, but it was unbelievable.....

I like my pizza with pepperonis, ham, and bacon. I heard great things about this so decided to live life on the edge today, and damn am I glad I did.

I think if someone started a " Don't ya just love being stung by killer bees?" thread....

...it would be a huge hit.

i wouldn't feed that twist to a homeless person.

it's homemade allright. but it's not actually ranch.

that's what makes it so twisted.

One word. Four syllables.

Tacconelli's...

If anyone is ever in Philly, look up Tacconelli's pizzeria. The one in Port Richmond is the original, but they had a falling out with their son Vince, who took his schtick to NJ, approx. 10 minutes over teh Tacony Palmyra Bridge. I suggest the original one, but you have to call by 1 p.m. to reserve your doughs for that night. The one in NJ, you can just walk in and sit down. BYOB for both of them.

As for the pizza...Thin to medium crust, garlicky, and just full of flavor. The absolute best pizza you'll ever have. You will not be let down. The price (around 14 a pie) indicates quality. You get that and more. Trust me, as I was raised by a pizza afficionado. .sp?? Its the BEST...

Oh and ND, you couldnt force feed me one of those pies...Too much going on there...But hey, different strokes for different folks...

You should make reservations for Forno next time you are in town.
