constantly criticizing club selection etc... My daughter said why is he not playing and said they wished he would shut up. I thought about all the comments here. And they hate golf, they just wanted to see if Tiger could pull it out. I think Miller made them switch channels on Sunday. |

Yeah he also made a snide comment about a guy named Rocco being on the trophy. He's a typical old school country club c.unt.

Jeff Kent + Johnny Miller = Mormons, and Mormons are taught from day one that they belong to a very small group of people that "get it." See, there is no doubt in their minds that they are right. It's not a maybe. Other people are wrong, and they are just good enough people to put up with them. So, they tend to be outspoken about what they believe is right and wrong. Most religions have these highly judgemental types(about right way n' wrong way to do stuff,) but many Mormans seem to be definite in their beliefs about almost everything. For instance, Lehman and Baddelay are holy roller types, but they would probably not be as judgemental (in the commentator box) as Miller or Kent would be.This is one reason why some people call it a cult(they are so convinced they are right about most everything, and that's exactly the way people in cults are.) They aren't just right about religious stuff. To them, there is a definite right n' wrong way to do most everything, and that's what you see from them(that attitude.)

Jeff Kent has a history of getting into fights with Black players (Bonds, Bradley, Kemp etc.) He gives out "suggestions" in a way that a motorcycle cop would...."Well if you'd of just done such n' such, then we wouldn't be sitting here with another loss."....They take it the wrong way. He comes off like an authoratative slave owner, but he's just a pretty typical Morman male (he and Miller both.) I saw the same ways from a Morman teacher in high school. The teaching profession would appear to be a natural calling for them(perfect, actually.) They are attracted to law enforcement(like Kent's motorcyle cop dad.) They like to be in positions of authority. That's why Miller is so in love with his announcing job. It's a natural position of authority. Look, I just gave you 4 examples of Mormon men, and every one of them enjoys being in a position of authority. Last edited by SCUDSBROTHER : 06-23-2008 at 02:02 PM. |

I guess now Bob Verdi should apologize too
From his Op piece in Golf World: "The last time a guy named Rocco and built like Mediate entered your living room on a summer weekend you probably paid him a bundle because that's the going rate for emergency housecalls. But this guy here didn't drop in to repair your air conditioner." Again, I'm no fan of Miller's, but to have him apologize is a joke. Political correctness has gotten so out of control and is just plain stupid. |

Someone had to make a comment somewhere along the line, or else Miller would have never made an apology. Be it that someone called into NBC or someone inside NBC made a complaint...I just don't think he is gonna apologize on his own. |
