![]() since GPK no longer talks to me I need to reach out. I'm starting to get back into golf seriously, and wondering what clubs you all prefer. If I were to go to the course where i frequent the driving range id probably shoot mid 90s.
Taylor made burner bubble driver Titleist Pro Trajectory 980F 3 Wood Titleist Pro Trajectory 980F 5 Wood Titleist 704CB 3-PW Stiff Steel Shaft Irons I dont even know the proper way to describe them accurately, my dad's friend at work just sold them to me after he found out i hocked my set taylor made golf clubs to gamble |

try and get some good sand wedges (cleveland or titleist) and get the hybrid club made by adams to substitute for a 2 iron |

![]() unless your swing speed is very, very fast... you do not want irons with stiff steel shafts. I've got stiff shafts on mine, but was fitted for them and the normal golfer's swing speed is way too low to use them.
You do need to upgrade the driver, like GPK says. For the driver, go to a good golf shop and you can test all of the good ones and see which one fits your swing the best. Get fitted for it if you can. Personally, I like the Callaway drivers and they will add distance for you(owned a Taylor made midsize, Biggest Big Bertha in the past and now have an FT-3). You don't need the hybrid club unless you have a distance gap between your longest iron and your shortest wood. If so, toss the longest iron and get a hybrid. Personally, I've got a Callaway 3H, but the Adams ones are perfectly good clubs too. |

As already indicated most people should probably be using regular instead of Stiff shafts as you really need a fast swing speed for the stiffs. Good luck and enjoy them.

![]() Jerry is a big guy, stiff shafts aren't the problem with those irons. If his scores are in the 90's, his skill level simply isn't good enough to play with them. Those irons are designed more for lower handicap golfers.
If I remember Jerry's profile, clubs that are stiff flex, +1" and about 2 degrees upright should be pretty close to suiting him. He just needs irons that are easier to hit than those Titleist he has. |

![]() thanks for all the responses and Kev I love you like a brother man. I am on yahoo at night after work so I hope to talk to you sometime. Dad's coworker is a scratch golfer so that explains the clubs, he has like 12 different sets of clubs and decided to unload that set for me for $300 even minus the bubble burner that was mine that I bought for new a couple years ago. I also checked my clubs they are a Fujikura Speed stiff Flex Shaft if that makes a difference

![]() Do they have balls that one can locate with a beeping signal?
Playing the entire range of hazards on a course requires at least 50 balls unless I could find a ball that beeped (underwater it would send up major bubbles, and I would take my snorkeling gear) Clubs... long clubs... the ball just goes further right or left. No need for club change for this hacker. |
