Default Saratoga closing day

Just wanted to start a thread and give a special thanks to Steve for his tireless work these past 6 weeks. Carolina BBQ, DerbyTrail, Dee Tee Stables, his radio show on Sirius and also making time to host many horse racing fans who make the journey to Saratoga during the meet.

I did not get a chance to thank him at Saratoga and say good bye after our family and groups of friends came up in the last week of July and early August, so i wanted to do it here.....

Saratoga has become special to me not only for its sheer beauty and quality of racing but mainly because after making trips there for the past few years it is the people who one gets to see once a year.

Get some rest Steve, you deserve it.

PSH

i also would like to thank you for all your helpful insight, picks, etc. It was like having a full time reporter there for every day of the meet.
Though my picks didn't fair to well it was an exciting season.
Hope everyone had a profitable and fun season.

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR WORK STEVE!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for all the hospitality Steve. I only made it up for one week, but certainly got my money's worth.

Great job churning out some quality picks along with everything else!

Hope to see you at Belmont next Sunday.

PSH, CG, BT, Zaf, Kel, Pat & Dave...

Thanks very much for the kind notes.. It was again a great pleasure for me to host the activities that revolve around Carolina at Saratoga. The summers get better and better, and this one was very, very special...

All the visits/visitors make the days f;y by, and it's always a delight to see how important being at Saratoga is to everyone.

Thanks to all who came by...

The Spaaa was great this year for me. Went three times...Opening day and the last two Fridays. I like the twi-night card...Lets me get my own work done before heading up to enjoy a day of racing.

I just can not imagine - outside of Del Mar - that there is any other track where you can feel right at home, like I do.

The old time traditions of jockeys and trainers interacting with spectators in the Clubhouse is great too.

Even though the overall handle was down - last year was quite amazing with the weather - Charlie and crew should not worry.

It would be nice to get the live video back on ADW sites. Steve, when you talk with Charlie next time perhaps you can mention it.

Steve, thanks for taking the time to chat with me during your show at the table. ...look forward to hearing you back on the air soon.
