I felt like I was watching a replay of the '04 SB when the Eagles had 5 minutes left down two scores and were not going no huddle.

I don't think any QB can succeed in that type of watered down, boring version of the WC offense, especially a type like Campbell who could be much better using his legs and arm strength. He might be OK in the right system but he's doomed in Washington.

As far as Bryant Johnson, that guy wasn't gonna be the difference in a good or bad west coast offense. I don't care if you have 6'6 guy or 5'4 guy, when the qb doesn't take shots down the field and refuses to pass the ball pass the sticks, and has zero pocket presence, Art Monk couldn't even help this kid out.

Jacobs is a good runner but it was the number of times he got in the open field that was scary. When they take on a speedier back and let him get in the open field they could let up some long runs.

Actually, it is when you are throwing short passes and not taking shots down the field that the size of the receiver matters the most. Look at Plaxico last night, several of his catches were on slants where the corner was draped all over him but still couldn't get around his size to break the pass up. Bryant Johnson wouldn't have put up more than 600 yards for them but his presence in the short passing game would have helped open things up for Moss and Randle El (who should never be playing anywhere but in the slot).

The Skins would be better right now with Brandon Lloyd than without him.

New York Jets 6-10 Probably close to reality, but might be better than this.
Miami Dolphins 3-13 They will probably win 4-5 games.

North
Cleveland Browns 10-6 What the phuck was I smoking?
Pittsburgh Steelers 10-6 Looks about right.
Cincinnati Bengals 6-10 Maybe a game or two worse. They'll win 4-5.
Baltimore Ravens 5-11 They've only played 2 games but I feel like I'm wrong here, they are .500 at worst.

South
Jacksonville Jaguars 11-5 Feels about right.
Indianapolis Colts 11-5 Feels about right, maybe a game worse.
Houston Texans 9-7 A decent team that can't win games. Too aggressive a prediction.
Tennessee Titans 6-10 WRONG... WAY WAY WAY wrong. I thought VY would be the undoing of this team but I forgot the genius that is Fisher.

West
San Diego Chargers 12-4 Probably a game aggressive.
Denver Broncos 8-8 Feels about right. By all rights, they're 2-2 right now even if their record says 3-1.
Oakland Raiders 5-11 Probably about right. Competitive but not good.
Kansas City Chiefs 4-12 Should be within a game of this.

NFC
East
Philadelphia Eagles 11-5 Tough call yet in this division, but my assessment that all the teams are good was correct.
Dallas Cowboys 11-5
New York Giants 8-8
Washington Redskins 8-8

North
Green Bay Packers 10-6 Rodgers might be out, which would put this in jepoardy.
Detroit Lions 9-7 What the hell was I smoking?
Minnesota Vikings 8-8 Probably close to reality.
Chicago Bears 5-11 Still have a long way to go but I think I underestimated them.

South
New Orleans Saints 9-7 Probably about right across the board in this division, but Atlanta may win a few more than I expected.
Carolina Panthers 9-7
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 8-8
Atlanta Falcons 3-13

West
Seattle Seahawks 9-7 Probably about right across the board in this division, but St Louis should be the bottom team and SF the 3rd place team.

Arizona Cardinals 9-7
St. Louis Rams 5-11
San Francisco 49ers 3-13

AFC seeds:
1) New England Patriots 15-1
2) San Diego Chargers 12-4
3) Jacksonville Jaguars 11-5
4) Cleveland Browns 10-6
5) Indianapolis Colts 11-5
6) Buffalo Bills 10-6

NFC seeds:
1) Philadelphia Eagles 11-5
2) Green Bay Packers 10-6
3) New Orleans Saints 9-7
4) Seattle Sehawks 9-7
5) Dallas Cowboys 11-5
6) Detroit Lions 9-7

AFC playoffs
Jaguars over Bills, Browns over Colts
Jaguars over Chargers, Patriots over Browns
Patriots over Jaguars

NFC playoffs
Saints over Panthers, Cowboys over Seahawks
Saints over Packers, Eagles over Cowboys
Eagles over Saints

Super Bowl- Patriots over Eagles

This is not the same ole skins.....it's worse offensively. Zorn will split a few heads like he did with Jansen. If Zorn goes down he won't be loading the gun with the same bullets
Although I have been completely wrong about this team this year. When I see Peter King ranking the 'skins as #4 in the NFL this morning it is clear that we are just a little too excited about Jason quite yet.....Come back in December and history says they will come back to earth. I would love to see this be for real as the "glow" of living here when the skins are successful is like living at Del Mar and every day is the first day of the meet......

if the steelers o-line doesn't play better than last season, they are out of the playoffs.

cowboys, vikings, saints, seahawks
giants, bucs.
NFC should just put All the east in the playoffs and have everyone else sit at home.

jags-seahawks.
seahawks win it for retiring coach.
honestly, the whole nfl is .500 and the play through the whole league is terrible!

Joe Flacco is going to be a very good quarterback...if the Ravens O-Line give him ore than .5 seconds to throw.

Buffalo Bills 10-6 Blind faith made me overestimate by 3 games I guess... 7-3 out of division, 0-6 in division, is that even possible?
New York Jets 6-10 8-3 only to finish 9-7? Guess I wasn't that wrong about them.
Miami Dolphins 3-13 yeah.... Parcells IS God.

North
Cleveland Browns 10-6 Sure. Smoke another one...
Pittsburgh Steelers 10-6 Thought their schedule might cost them a game or two. It didn't.
Cincinnati Bengals 6-10 not bad.
Baltimore Ravens 5-11 Even though I liked Flacco coming out of the draft I didn't think they could be that good with a rookie QB and an unproven running back corps (even with my guy Ray Rice in there.) Wrong.

South
Jacksonville Jaguars 11-5 Nope... this team played with no heart all year, they are better than what they showed
Indianapolis Colts 11-5 Pretty good
Houston Texans 9-7 Pretty good
Tennessee Titans 6-10 Nope... switching to Collins made all the difference

West
San Diego Chargers 12-4 Horrible start... playing like it now
Denver Broncos 8-8 Yup
Oakland Raiders 5-11 Yup
Kansas City Chiefs 4-12 pretty much right

NFC
East
Philadelphia Eagles 11-5 Schizophrenic team, but not that far off
Dallas Cowboys 11-5 They suck
New York Giants 8-8 Figured they would have a Super Bowl hangover. They didn't. The road goes through them again.
Washington Redskins 8-8 Yup

North
Green Bay Packers 10-6 Should have been better than they finished. Gotta be disappointed in Cheeseland. QB isn't the problem though
Detroit Lions 9-7 well... I don't think ANYONE thought they would lose them all. But a horrible prediction on my part
Minnesota Vikings 8-8 In any other division this is probably right, but I should have accounted for that.
Chicago Bears 5-11 A bit of smoke and mirrors at times but Forte is the real deal and was probably worth 2-3 wins.

South
New Orleans Saints 9-7 pretty good prediction
Carolina Panthers 9-7figured them to be good, not great, I think they're better than good but not great. If their defense can get it back together they can win the whole thing
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 8-8 pretty good prediction
Atlanta Falcons 3-13 See Baltimore... Matt Ryan could be double ROY/MVP

West
Seattle Seahawks 9-7 Too many injuries killed their season.
Arizona Cardinals 9-7 Yup
St. Louis Rams 5-11 Anybody notice they lost their last 10 games???
San Francisco 49ers 3-13 Wow... Singletary really turned them around. 2-7 to finish 7-9.

AFC seeds:
1) New England Patriots 15-1
2) San Diego Chargers 12-4
3) Jacksonville Jaguars 11-5
4) Cleveland Browns 10-6
5) Indianapolis Colts 11-5
6) Buffalo Bills 10-6

NFC seeds:
1) Philadelphia Eagles 11-5
2) Green Bay Packers 10-6
3) New Orleans Saints 9-7
4) Seattle Sehawks 9-7
5) Dallas Cowboys 11-5
6) Detroit Lions 9-7

AFC playoffs
Jaguars over Bills, Browns over Colts
Jaguars over Chargers, Patriots over Browns
Patriots over Jaguars

NFC playoffs
Saints over Panthers, Cowboys over Seahawks
Saints over Packers, Eagles over Cowboys
Eagles over Saints

Super Bowl- Patriots over Eagles
Final...

Try it next year... it's REALLY hard. The NFL is not like baseball where we know who will be good and who won't 99% of the time. All the teams are so close, would anybody honestly expect the Dolphins and Falcons to be 11 game winners and playoff teams before the season? Not a chance.

The teams I feel like I really missed on were Jax, Cleveland, Detroit, Baltimore, Tennessee, the Giants, Miami, and Atlanta. I'll take a free pass on New England and Seattle because of their QB injuries. Everybody else fell within a range I would expect given the bounce of the oddly shaped ball.

Not bad with six of 12 making the playoffs
