Default WED - Spot Plays HAW, BEL, & OSA PK6

Hawthorne Race Course

R5 - Clm 18K (18-16) (Turf)

#1 Now - (BEST BET) She's a standout with this bunch.
#3 Tattooed Lady - The stretchout has to help.
#9 Casablanca Babe - Cat/Cal contender will have company up front.
#10 Running Clear - Should be running late for a minor share.

R8 - Alw30K N2X (Turf)

#4 Prime Realestate - Besides facing elders for the 1st time, it seems the 6-1 ML is off. I can easily make a case that he doesn't care for a soft turf and he put in a decent effort (4th) versus some tough competition in the G1 Secretariat.

Belmont Park

R7 - G3 Miss Grillo

#12 Megachurch - Ritchey ships in after she crushed maidens at 1st asking going a mile on the lawn at DEL.
#1 Consequence - Another Phipps homebred with great potential. Could be any kind.
#11 Laragh - Will have to rate to be around when it counts.
#8 Miss Bodine - Took some serious cash at SAR, now tries the turf. Tricky read.

Oak Tree @ Santa Anita

$2 PK6 - Race 3 - 8 10 12 / 11 13 / 1 4 8 / 5 8 / 8 / 1 14 = $144

Good Racing Luck

Lots to like for sure, but Ritchey's decision to ship his filly is an aggressvie move and she'll be a better price.

I don't understand why guys jump up and down for 5/2 pay offs in a race that has 4-5 horses that are legitimate threats to win the race at longer odds. If you get your $7 bucks for every $2, congratulations, but how can you set your sights so low in a 2 year old turf stakes around 2 turns when it is likely that some of these second out horses with similar numbers will out finish your 5/2 shot. IMO the 2,6,7,11 and 12 are all horses that could win this race. Obviously the problem is narrowing to which one will move forward but playing chalk is not a likely successful endeavor. Live a little and key a value play rather than jumping on a short price.
