John Edwards had an affair, and it seems that he has disappeared from the face of the Earth. But you have a guy who is weeks away from being President with some sort of link/ties to a terrorist and a racist minister. Does it intrigue you at least a little bit?
No.

His 'relationship' with Ayers wasn't much of a relationship at all, and honestly, spare me all the outrage over a 'racist minister'. Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell have said things very similar to what Jeremiah Wright said (America deserving 9/11), and I don't see anyone screaming 'kill him!' about McCain for associating with those two nutbags.

Big ****ing deal there's a black pastor who has resentment towards white people that Obama knows. I love how this white racism at McCain rallies is glanced over, but there's a black guy who doesn't like white people (one who Obama denounced) and everybody loses their ****. Get a grip. If you really think, after the guy has been campaigning for two years, that Obama secretly hates white people and loves domestic terrorism, you're a moron. Sorry, but you are.

It's one thing to decry his lack of experience or say he hasn't proven himself yet, but these insinuations that he's some Manchurian candidate secretly bent on turning America upside down the moment he gets into office are so absurd and batshit crazy, I can't believe I just typed three paragraphs in response to them.

Find out who funded the empty suits' college degree, and who hooked him up to the Annenburg Challenge, etc etc. One incident at a public rally and you lump McCain with the vitrol from Wright that Obama listened and FUNDED for over 20 years? Nice scholarship,Joey!

I will answer your question and in turn I hope you will answer mine. Do you find it curious that this is suddenly a "big issue"? Do you think that you are in any way parroting the desperate McCain campaign that is throwing any mud that they can find because they know the election is virtually a lost cause? Do you really think Obama is a terrorist?

Now to answer your questions. Obama isnt the son of Admiral McCain or President HW Bush. He had to make his own way in the world and he had to start at the bottom. There are unsavory characters at every level the only difference is that the ones from the bottom actually go to jail.

Do I think he had heard his pastor say bad things? I do. I think Obama knew that Wright felt the way he does. Does it mean that obama feels this way? No, i dont think it does.

Do I think its a big deal about Ayers? No, i think its ridiculous.

The funny thing is, you may occasionally say things that are true and make valid arguments. But your constant barrage of propaganda and links from blogs and right-wing websites has squashed any credibility you had.

I don't believe anything you say, and I know I'm not the only one.

Constant barrage...what maybe 4-5 posts??? The fact that you crticize(always) me for posting something that needs to be thought about is proof of what I'm saying. You didn't used to be a member of the " bandwagon" brigade

You have one note that you sing, and everything that you post has an agenda, yet you call me a bandwagoner. Awesome. It's pretty hypocritical to say that I criticize you for posting things to be 'thought about', when you ignored my post about voters being removed from voter rolls, and instead used it as an opportunity for more right-wing agenda advancement bullshit.

I can't vote for Obama. He's obviously a terrorist and I'm sure when he becomes President, he's going to blow up my local university.

The McCain campaign doesn't seem to care, but I hope they realize how dangerous this is. I understand that they feel as though they have nothing left to throw at Obama, but is one final desperate ploy to win really worth putting your opponent in danger by egging on racist lunatics?

Don't necessarily hold back your attacks, but if you've got any sense of responsibility left, shouldn't you publicly denounce some of these sentiments expressed at your rallies, or at least kick out the people shouting 'kill him!' or yelling racial epithets at black cameramen? When do you begin to feel responsible for spraying gasoline on a controlled wildfire?
I think it was disgusting they just went on with their speeches, without even acknowledging the racists dirtballs in the crowd! They should have totally denounced the shouts, but they didn't seem to give a tinkers damn, it makes me sick!

I gave an arguement about the voter rolls. I thought that inflating voter rolls was worse than getting rid of dead people or ineligible voters who'd moved and not re-registered. You came at the arguement side of " look what the bad govt. is doing to these poor helpless folks"(there is a responsibilty in correctly maintaining your right to vote). And I said I was more worried about something else. Supposed to be a discussion...you're the one who slammed the door, not me!
My agenda is that I'd like to be able to pay my bills and have a future for this country down the road without mortgaging it for the NOW fix, and cowtowing to every paper tiger that wants a peace of the US!
If you have a problem with that, then I can't help ya.

Another one who clearly didn't read the article that I posted, yet you say you want discussion. I'm done responding to you. I'm actually starting to feel a little sorry for you as well.

That's fair, I was just curious what some Obama supporters thought about the alledged relationships.
As far as your questions goes. Of course I don't think he is a terrorist. As far as the republicans bringing it up now, of course it is a desperation play. It is very late in the game to be playing the muck game. But really what does McCain have to lose? I can't believe that it has taken so long to bring this up. I would have thought that Hilary would have touched on the subject a long time ago. Maybe it really is a non issue, or the media would have been all over right? Or is it just the liberal press. I think it is a little of both.
Bottom line is that people want a change. They see McCain being a republican and link him to GW (Obama has done a good job constantly linking the two). Obviously it is Obama's race to lose, but stranger things have happened and nothing would suprise me when Washington is involved.

Prosecutors in the Keating 5 scandal cleared McCain of any impropriety long ago....but it makes for good headlines. However, 3 of the guilty ones are serving on Nobamas' presidential staff!
