it is funny. i saw casino drives jock look behind him about ten second before getting inhaled and told my son, he's making sure there's no one behind him, because he knows he's about to make a beeline for the rear. sure enough.

oh man, and some of us got a lot of grief for dismissing this horse, who deserved to be dismissed.

Dr. Swine:

I implore you.... Please, for the love of all things good and holy, post your NFL picks in the Sports Bar and Grill. You may singlehandedly pull us out of the recession.

A grateful nation anxiously awaits your reply

And hit it for himself.

Putting $50K into the pockets of horseplayers is a beautiful thing.

Oh come on, it makes things interesting to have a mystery horse.

he was no mystery. he was the comedy in the race.

the mystery was the euros, and they solved the case quite easily today. they'll be here in spades next year. for all they missed out on yesterday, they more than made up for it today.

if you can get him to say his name backwards, will it send him back to his parallel universe?

$5K.

He put in the same ticket for himself that he did for OTB ( they mandated a $5K ticket ) just as he did last year. It's more than he wanted to play but he didn't want to rue missing out.

As it was, the first five winners were As, so he couldn't have missed even for relatively small money.
