Sooo does that mean Zenyatta would have finished about 3rd or 4th in the Classic?

Numbers wise, would Fatal Bullet be higher than Eagle Mountain?

Fatal Bullet was beaten 1 3/4 lengths...I believe by memory can't look it up at work...but it would be close to Eagle Mountain one would have to say.

Arguing over Beyers on turf and synthetics is sweet.

Five top efforts in defeat? To me, the horse that ran best in defeat was Sealy Hill.

Dream Empress ran a very good race as well...

Square Eddie was courageous in a scenario where most young horses react negatively from their prior effort.

Heartshaped of course.

And Diabolical wins the Turf Sprint if he could have changed leads at any point from the top of the stretch onward.

That's what I was telling a friend at the OTB on Sat. Horse ran great..but clearly tired badly on his left lead.

Lori and I were discussing the same thing when we saw his stretch run.

Beyers aside(mostly Conduit's 116? ) I have to echo Bobby Frankel's comments on ATR Monday, he was most impressed it seemed by Goldikova's(a 107 only...) and Midnight Lute's performances. On Goldikova he almost sounded in awe of her performance, which coming from an introverted guy like him spoke volumes.
