It's a constant struggle to keep religion out of government...to be honest, it's always a matter of degree. When Bush stared hearing the voice of god, I started getting really nervous! Bush proved why religious wackos should not run anything but in all fairness to Bush, who I do not like at all, he was just a puppet. It is very obvious to any objective person that Cheney was running the show. Every important memo on any important issue came from his desk.

because the usa held them back..fyi.we gave them enough support over the past 30 years that they in fact could be the bully in these matters.. why does the flag bother you so much. the isrealis are a very peacefull people who have been ****ed over for years ..if every country your surrounded by wants you to be wiped off the map. you tend to be on edge..they have given land back to the palastinians in hopes of a long standing truce but it never happens..and im not jewish

The USA held them back? What are we their daddy? They should do whatever they need to do and we should stop giving all these crazy countries money. It isn't our problem. I am Irish and English. I could have cared less if the crazy Catholics and Protestants blew each other up in Ireland. That is their problem, not mine, and not any other US taxpayer. This crap has been going on since the beginning of time and the US did great before it started getting involved with all these crazy people.

The flag doesn't bother me at all. I don't think twice about countries the size of New Jersey until my tax dollar starts being thrown down the sewer giving them aid they don't need. If they want people to take them seriously as a democracy instead of a theocracy, like crazy countries like Saudi Arabia, then maybe they should use something a little more secular. Why should people that are not Jewish that live there have to look at their national flag with a religious symbol on it?

Only crazy people base a country on religion. That is why the Middle East is a mess of crazy people.

I am well aware of the history. The only reason the US cares is because of the oil that is there. This country needs to get the hell off foreign oil by investing in alternative energy and more drilling in the US. It is disgraceful my President has to deal with these wackos and call up OPEC and ask them to pump more oil.

If the US got off foreign oil we wouldn't have to worry about these crazy religious people in the middle east. Israel and the Arabs can blow each other up and the US should care less. They have been fighting forever and always will because they insist on clinging to ridiculous stone age ideas of religion.

Every time these religious wackos in Israel and Gaza start fighting the price of gas goes up. So basically my gas costs more because of neanderthals in the middle east. Ridiculous.

No, it is not anti-semetic, it is anti religious wackos. There are plenty of religious wackos that are muslims and christians.

The fact is Israel is a nation built on a religion, just like a lot of muslim countries. This is 2009, intelligent people know religions are man made and have no place in the governing of people.

All I know is the US is not run by a religion and we don't seem to have the problems the neanderthals in the middle east have.

What makes these religious wackos any more important than poor people in Africa? I have no problem giving money to poor people, I have a problem giving my money to crazy countries to buy weapons and blow each other up.

If backwards countries like Israel and Egypt want weapons they should use their own people's tax dollars, not mine. I prefer my tax dollars go to American schools and healthcare for people in MY OWN COUNTRY.
