The dam of Col Klink quite famously was on her way to an easy win at 20/1 - until she had an encounter with the Sportsman's Park rail in deep stretch. A legendary tough betting beat for sure. I think it was also as a 2nd time starter as well.
However, the bettors of her that day got rewarded with a juicy 8/5 when she made her next start a month or so later and won by like 20. |

I have to try and take some shots also!! I will be there with bells on....ok, maybe not bells, but I will be very happy to be there. I was very lucky last year, I got some great shots with Baffert, Assmussen,Neil Howard,Dan Hendricks and Eric Guillot, and each of them were very nice. Also got some great shots of Daytona after he won, with his head in Dans lap. It was a very sweet shot, I must say. I will be bringing a good friends 18 yr old daughter who is totally in love with all things horse so it should be a very fun day.

And so the Col.'s run at the FG digresses into hooking Scav's up with 18 year old waitresses......
But I do believe he will be in the Chi instead of in NOLA.... |
