PRE-SCRATCHES

9th: Ashland (Gr. I), 3yo-F, 8.5f (DD, Super)

Recall last year's edition of this Oaks prep where KMc poly specialist jumped up and beat Proud Spell and other prominant dirt gals. Stardom Bound looks very vulnerable here having been ordinary in her pair of Gr. All Stakes Pick 4 at Santa would've generated a nice Pool but who am I to tell the experts how to market their product to generate the most revenue. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't hurt the P6 all that much.

Got back late from Aqueduct last night and still smiling thanks to the really great day of racing at nearly every vantage point... Had a good enough afternoon at the windows with some solid opinions, though Gozzip Girl falling short hurt. Hope everybody did well.

Scene at Big A by the paddock was funny as everyone would watch a race, check the monitors for out of town post parades and races, check the AQU paddock, check back to the monitors, watch Aqueduct live, etc., for nearly 2 hours... More after a run for breakfast.
