I really like Phils' calls and he is a very nice guy, but the fact that he is in early stages of Alzheimer's ( no joke ) show on races that have more than 5 runners. I guess his current calls are better than Bobby Neuman's, who says "it's too close to call" when a horse wins by a half a length. ...and therenotgonnagetemtoday! |

![]() I enjoyed hearing Phil fill in for Bobby over the weekend. It was a pleasant surprise, and a very nice idea by Calder. I think Bobby is competent and has done a very good job as Phil's replacement. Many of us have enjoyed Phil over the years. "And they're not gonna get him today..."
