Alexandros, at Saratoga today (Race 4)...

http://www.drf.com/news/article/105918.html

(For the record there are two with the same name and born the same year. I know that this site has the occassional international lurker so just so there's no confusion...).

Anyway, a shame. Rest in peace.

Del Mar in the morning

Quote:
Zetta's Corridor, a 3-year-old filly trained by Kathy Walsh, broke a front leg and fell at about 8:15 a.m., tossing exercise rider David Rodriguez to the ground. Zetta's Corridor, who finished third in her career debut at Del Mar on July 31, had to be euthanized and became the 11th fatality at the track since July 19.

Just a reminder... I'm sure I don't see all of the names so please add any that you see, know of, come across. I'm sure to miss some and they all deserve one final mention, one little acknowledgement that they lived, ran and tried and that somewhere people who knew how special each one was have holes in their hearts because they're gone. Thanks.
