Why do you like the 1 so much? He gets a perfect trip everytime and might simply not be that good. I will need to beat him today and I have been ice cold latley so maybe Im wrong, but I think Cowboy Cal is flat out better. Its funny how are pick 4's are similar but a totally different single.

Colony is a good horse too. While Cowboy Cal might have a pace advantage on the field, he has shown no resistance when headed lately and that could be the sign of deteriorating form.

That being said, I like Seaspeak. I think he gets the trip today and the move back to firm turf will help.

I just got crushed on pick 4.. I could not use that horse at 2-1. It wont hurt as much if CC comes up empty, I think he has huge advantage today.

I think he is an improving horse who makes his own good trips. Sometimes horses are just good enough to have several gears and be placed into the spots for good trips. I agree with NT on Cowboy Cal and Colony is a bonus on this single as it would be chalk anyway.

NT, Seaspeak scares me, Nicks has been bringing them in live. I considered a backup, but felt best to spread here as much as possible and hope for a live price.

I cannot believe that early paid $25K and I couldn't get back to a computer in time to place a win bet on Tripletaxexempt, I got too cute and spread in the wrong race there! Although in theory, the 4th went as I thought, I just thought that Future Prospect was more likely to get beat by a closer!

Who can get off the duck first: Terranova and his 0 for a million record with turf horses at Saratoga or Peitz, who hasn't won at Saratoga in better than five years?

I'll take Native Mambo.

Seaspeak is one of my favorite horses (even though his DQ cost me my biggest score of '08) and I hope he wins. But, I don't think he gets 9F against these and I have ZERO confidence that Albarado can get 9F out of him.

Cowboy Cal ran his eyeballs out.... Just not good enough I guess.
What a bad losing streak.

The 10 at Del Mar (r3). Take at 6-1 or pitch due to being on the shelf & the plunge in class. I'm leaning towards the latter. Taking the 3 probably.
