The entry looks tough here in the Turf Monster, but the 10 & 11 look the part on the track.
and if B-Dawk was the jock on Denver, I'd agree.

I used him in my pick 3's. No real opinion on this race. I think I used 5 of them. |

104 Beyer for Gone Astray... and it could have been a little higher.
For those who thought the rail was bad in the Haskell ... Duke Of Mischief was on the rail every step of the way in the Haskell and was a soundly beaten 4th in the PA Derby ... albeit he was a step slow at the start and 4 wide both turns this time. |

That was some performance. Those of us who liked and bet Gone Astray got screwed (pricewise) with the scratch of Soul Warrior who would have vied for favortism. I thought 9/2 was fair but not great on this horse. Had Soul Warrior been in, we were probably looking at 7/1 and my bet would have doubled. Oh well, cant complain about having a winner.

When was the last time Shug won a million dollar race that wasn't on Breeders Cup day?

Pine Island's Alabama was only 600K ... same with Traditionally's Oaklawn Park Handicap win.
I would think probably Coronado's Quest win in the Haskell was the last one. |
