Last time, and only time, I was there I had a cute little server I was making bets for. She picked 3 dog winners in a row I had $5 to win on each for her and I caught 2 out of 3 triples, so I felt bad I was making a hell of a lot more then her. So I told her told pick a tri and if it hit I would split it with her. Oh yea she hit it ice cold and it paid $1600, I gave her 8 bills i thought she was going to faint. She knew nothing about the dogs and never made a bet in her life. It was a good night!
Prime Rib hit the spot too $9.95!!!

You might be the best one there now, in fact.

I really think I only got to Saratoga, Gulfstream and OBS Races this year (the one day races at OBS are so much fun!)

Oh well.. as long as I get to Saratoga every year.. I'm satisfied.

Rosehill (Sydney) and Eagle Farm (Brisbane) will be the top tracks. Townsville and Canberra will be somewhere in the middle. The rest are all bush tracks, which are low on emenities, but great "grass roots" racing fun. It'll be a nice bit of diversity, definitely looking forward to it.

We were trying to make it over to Western Australia. I have a good friend who lives near Freemantle, but we couldn't make it work on this trip. It would be at Ascot (beautiful racecourse) during this time of the year.

Yeah, going up to Queensland. I noticed it did leave one track off, Sunshine Coast in Caloundra. Then there will be Townsville and a bush track about 5 1/2 hours north of there in Mareeba; Eagle Farm and Chinchilla in the Brisbane region.

Maybe I could put together a DT trip to Oz someday. Haven't been to any of the Victoria racecourses yet. There, you could probably go racing every day, different track, over a 2 week period. Last trip to Australia, I was able to do 15 tracks in 15 days in New South Wales.

Has anyone ever been here?

Headed to FT. Myers for a few and thought, sans a rental car to go to Miami or Tampa...this place might be a way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Also the Big A (used to work there), Arlington and Keenland.

Been to the dog track in Tampa pretty fun. They simulcast most horse tracks there as well.

I misread the question. I didn't see that he said in the past year. My bad.
