Indian Burn's win couldn't be a better demonstration of the adage that pace makes a race and demonstrate the context in which speed figures can be misleading, incredible how the only closer in a field full of speed can win a race against horses clearly faster than her and do it at a very good price. I personally love these opportunities, it will be interesting to see if she will be overbet when she meets a field without such a favorable setup.

I think she might have been the best horse either way. Not enough to go by with so few figs for each horse and her maiden breaker was much better than the fig would lead you to believe. She'll never be a world beater, but she's a useful little horse. Good for Hertler. . .

Gotta love the highest beyer of the entire weekend going to Gary's horse and he earned it under wraps. Wow. I bet you he couldnt blow out a match after that effort.

Based on that, he's eligible to toss out a 110+ Beyer next out in the Big Cap at 10f, assuming he gets a reasonable pace and faces a full field of turf horses. |

The Patriots could have used lasix as well.
Their vaginas bled all over Foxboro. |
