Playa, consult the fantasy guru. PM me any questions and I'll hook you up. Hard luck at the begining of the season is ish happens. Way too early to worry. The 3 money leagues I'm in I am 3-0, 2-1,2-1. This is definately the year you had to do your home work in. All three of my squads are good. I royally f-ed up one league though. Caddy will kill me and Ronnie Brown may struggle. But other than that, I'm clean.

One could make a case that a Phil's fan is a loser. You really support an organization that gave away one of your best players(ABREU) to the Yanks?
You support this whore activity? Organization is a great example of streetwalker activity.

Still paying K.B.,and S Green? That's a lie. However,J D POO is a P.O.S. about 90% of the time.I don't know how to describe what his problem is,but P.O.S. will do.Luckily he has been giving his best lately.I do wonder when that will stop abruptly though.

go take a bath suds
my point was...all teams make bad moves
to suggest the Phillies gave Abreu to the Yankees
because they wanted them to win another WS is hinging on the absurd
it basically was a cost-cutting move for a team who decided
with a young club to focus on next year
to everyone surprise they got hot
I hated the move, and obviously still do, as we could use Abreu
but I'm not just going to switch allegiances because of it
I'm very loyal to my teams, and to my anti-depressants

They gave up Abreu because that's the streetwalking way.Commisioner should of stopped the whores from giving their most experienced top hitter away (like a whore on her back.)Seems to be nothing that this f'n Selig will stop. The pigs n' whores are free to get together and do business.Well,I bet you wish you had Abreu this week.Pathetic that you don't have him,but whores will be whores.Yanks will always be a willing John.

you're a very stupid dude
and what does it say for the Dodgers
who are in for a hunt for their play-off lives
with an Abreu-less Phillie team?
plus have lost their divison to a team
most people can't name a player off of

Regardless of what happens,we didn't sell ourselves to the Yanks. The Padres have the 2nd best pitching in the whole MLB,and the best in the National League. The Dodgers have the 9th best in the MLB,and the 4th best in the National League.Only you would seriously wonder why the Padres are winning the division. The failure will be if we don't beat your team for the Wild Card.

Why arent they winning the division by more than 1.5 games if their pitching is so damn teriffic? Its not like the Dodgers are some world beater. 5 games left and teh Dodgers are still in the division race.
And you may think Houston is boring to watch, I feel the same way about San Diego. Horribly boring baseball, and I am a huge fan of the sport. I can watch any game and be happy but San Diego would be towards the bottom of my list.

Well,

1)The Padres are not leading by 1.5 games. They lead by 2 games(thanks to Carpenter giving up a 5-2 lead last night in the 7th.)

2)If you remember,it took a miracle to beat the Padres in the last Dodger/Padre game of the year. So,it probably should be a 3 game lead.

Still wouldnt you think a team with the 2nd best pitching in the MLB would be up by at least 7,8 games over a very weak NL West division? There shouldnt even be a race right now. They should have clinched 2 weeks ago with that kind of throwers in that kind of division.

True. They should have won close to 90 games already. They can get a little chilly with the bats for a while.I think they struggled to score runs in their own park during the middle of the season.I also think they struggled to beat the Giants this year.Your right. They have the potential to do more than they have.By far the best pitchers in the NL West are on the Padres.Sele,Tomko, and Dessens wouldn't make that team. They would get rid of them.At their very best, the Dodgers can beat them.Only when they play their best though.

In the Padre's defense, that park is a very tough place to score a lot of runs. Which is probably why they have a slightly better record on the road than they do in San Diego. I dont like their chances in the playoffs. I consider them the weakest team that will be in the playoffs in both leagues.
