![]() Buddy's Saint, winner of the Remsen (gr. II) and Nashua Stakes (gr. III), is off the Kentucky Derby (gr. I) trail after suffering a chip in his right front ankle following a workout at Gulfstream Park March 14, trainer Bruce Levine told The Blood-Horse.
The son of Saint Liam was purchased at the Keeneland September yearling sale for $100,000. http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-raci...by-trail/print |

![]() Too bad for the horse and connections. However, he'll be tough in the fall . Money isn't everything if you can afford to keep the horse .

![]() Feel very badly for Levine. This has been a very difficult situation for him and now there's nothing remotely close to a payoff for the time devoted to the horse. Brutal business.
