4/14: Aqueduct (6th-9th)
What Keeneland gave Friday, it took away Saturday as I took a hammering. Hope you survived the quirky weekend. Very entertaining sequence at Aqueduct this afternoon..
AQUEDUCT POST-SCRATCHES 6th: CLM/N1Y, 4+, 8.5f-T (P4, P3, DD) Best Value: #7 The Vin Man 5-1 WON ($9.70) Most Likely: #1 Lemon Shore 9-5 5th Next Best: #8 Medjool 2-1 2nd 7th: MDN CLM, 3+, 6f (P3, DD, Super) Surprisingly strong and challenging race.. While the favorites are OK, the numerous class droppers and cut-back players make this more tricky than it looks.. Most Likely: #7 Ex Pat 5-2 5th Next Best: #9 Something Gold 9-5 3rd Best Value: #5 Khalifa 5-1 WON ($9.40) Super Add: #1 Liberal 10-1 7th 8th: NYB-OC/C, F&M-3+, 1m-T (DD) With the stake earlier on the card, this fills in as a very good feature; Top 3 stand out as well-matched and ones to beat, but note Mustang Fever's forward-going development and fact she is first time back on grass as 4yo. At 8-1 and possibly higher, you would love to get her in the mix. Finally, Higher Incentive returns to Contessa, and she was mighty effective last summer these parts and voyages. Using in multis..
