If you think it's bad in Pittsburgh now, just wait to Rothlisberger eventually get hauled off to prison.

Actually, the majority of the city would like to see that......over 68% in a local survey.

I dont have a horse in this race and being from Scottsdale, not a hockey town, I still think the Sharks will win this series. But remember I think the Suns will win their series against the Lakers. Good luck to you Chicago fans, i know i am out numbered. Hey anyone want to buy a hockey team, we have one for sale.

i had the center ice package and i have to say, HANDS DOWN, staggy and Errey are the biggest homers i've ever heard, its soo much of a bias in their announcing i try and pick up the oppositions feed if at all possible, or just mute the damn thing.
"OHHHH staggy they're mugging geno in the corners, they gotta call that"

glad my jedi mind trick worked when i picked the pens in 7

the nbc announcers are just about as bad when you're playing the pens. crosby is the 'great white hope' of north american hockey. hell, i still see people saying they don't like ovechkin because he's a commie. the amount of foreign players apparently distresses many-don cherry leaps to mind.

VS coverage of nothing but the Penguins during the playoffs has been downright maddening. I'm no Habs fan, but thank God somebody put Cindy out of his misery.

As the resident Bs fan, I sure hope not. Not that it was expected at the start of the season or even the start of the playoffs, but a Bs vs Habs Conference Finals could be epic.

As an aside..Comcast Sports Net carries the Bulls, Hawks, Cubs and Sox. The Hawks clincher over Vancouver was the most watched game involving ANY team in their history...that is pretty amazing.

I think it speaks volumes about the rest of the sports landscape in Chicago these days.

Yeah, every team sucks besides the Hawks, and even those little bitches turn it into a drama flick.

Looting makes Montreal merchants skittish about Habs playoff run

(Canadian Press) -- MONTREAL -- Downtown Montreal merchants
are having mixed feelings about their hometown hockey team's
second-round playoff win.
Some stores were looted in the aftermath of the Canadiens'
dramatic Game 7 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins on
Wednesday night.
Among the hardest hit were a trendy clothing store and a
Foot Locker outlet.
Police say 41 people were arrested in all.
Now some merchants are worried about how rabble-rousers
will behave during the Canadiens' next playoff series.
"I'm very happy with what's happened with these guys (the
hockey players), because no one gave them a chance," said Jean-
Jacques Trudel, manager of an audio store near the site of the
looting.
"But our concern as merchants is another story."
At the same time, the improbable playoff run has been good
for businesses, especially for merchants selling Habs
paraphernalia.
Nour Nury, who manages a souvenir store not far from the
Bell Centre, says he has sold out T-shirts emblazoned with
goalie Jaroslav Halak's name.
He also notes that anything tied to Mike Cammalleri, who
had seven goals in the series against the Penguins, is
especially popular with women.
"The top players have been stepping up," he said. "The
merchandise that needs to be sold is getting sold."
