The top Beyer of the day goes to a former $25K claimer, 1st time Dutrow. This horse also completely outran a pretty good horse who was carrying 118 less pounds (Formidable, who dropped the rider at the start). Overall, a pretty remarkable performance.

Wait till you see Rail Trip's new gears.. Like a Benz being sent for a AMG package. Mr. Dutrow will just drop a chip into him and re tune Ole Rail Trip with some new performance fuilds and Zoom..

How good is Check the Label? She has not been asked to run once in her last 2 races, she is just winning for fun.

I don't think he was moved up that much by Dutrow.

I'm not really sure how good she is. Even though her VA Oaks win was visually impressive (I made that statement in another thread), it was a suspect group she was facing.

The jury is still out......
