Before you get wood, let's see how many actually run.

If I were the connections of Biofuel, I'd have a sniper up on the roof and IF Da Siva (has her wide and) asks her early turn, have him take the ****er out.

Actually: this might have the makings of a new underground sport. Sure cure for premature ejaculation race riding.

And you conclude that from their last race? Or are you just assuming that this is SAR and Pletcher will have the elixir going and his horse will get everything her own way again? That's quite a conjunction. This assumes the entered field goes, of course, and not some skeleton of it.

Take the last out, I think DMC is a serious filly and yes Todd should have the good stuff going, yes DMC should again get everything her own way and have plenty left at the top of the lane.

The problem that I have with the Mother Goose is that first of all it seemed visually like JV thought there was a lot more left in the tank when they turned for home than what was actually there. Considering the way Connie and Michael came back, you have to wonder about just how strongly Devil May Care won the race. Biofuel is a one run closer who was asked to make a prolonged move from the outside in her first start ever on dirt. A quick perusal of the PPs of this race makes it clear that the pace should be very solid. Who does it look like that aids the most? Biofuel if she's ridden to capitalize on her strengths.

With Devil May Care you have a filly who has won two stakes restricted to her own sex, one against a filly who has shown she has no interest in going two turns and the other against a group where the race played out exactly the way she needed it. That's not the type of horse I'm interested in at all at a small price.

I also don't see who might be scratched from this field. The Finger Lakes shipper is obviously going to have to improve dramatically, but why not test your filly out here? I also don't see Lukas scratching, Dutrow has pointed Acting Happy here for two months and barring injury or infirmity I don't see Seeking the Title or Bahama Bound being taken out. That leaves the Mother Goose 1-2-3 who were basically confirmed for this the day after the MG. It should go with eight and it will be an interesting race.

There's a really weird story behind the Finger Lakes horse. If I heard right, the owner/trainer believes she's the reincarnation of his dead wife or something.

What's so weird about that? A lot of horse racing fans think Zenyatta is the reincarnation of Jesus.

Okay so, John Lennon got in trouble for saying the Beatles were bigger than Jesus. Does that mean: The Beatles>Zenyatta>Jesus or Zenyatta>The Beatles>Jesus ?
