Default Maxine Waters = Scumbag

She belongs in jail. Jail. This woman is the epitome of what has happened to our government. Incest with business to this degree. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...080204084.html

"Waters is being investigated for her role in arranging meetings between Treasury Department officials and representatives of minority-owned banks, including OneUnited Bank. Waters' husband, Sidney Williams, formerly served on the board of directors of OneUnited and continues to own stock in the company. OneUnited got $12.1 million in TARP funds after meetings that Waters helped to arrange, and Treasury officials have alleged that they never knew of her personal ties to the bank."

pure racism especially in light of a black Pres turning on the poor, esteemed, senior-senator from NY, Chas. Rangel. And the Panthers get to roam. LOL

Dell, its a shame she's black actually b/c that is exactly what people will say. This has nothing to do with race. It has everything to do with the same ol same ol. Geitner was a known tax evader who helped Wall Street at every turn and Obama gave him a pass. Rangel is a criminal. But Waters, hello people this is real money we are talking about.

Two wrongs don't make a right, but I hope you have the same outrage and moral compass over Cheney and Halliburton.

Dont forget about Rangel. He also belongs in jail. If Rangel and Waters were Republicans the Democrats would want them to resign. Supposedly all Rangel is going to get is a reprimand. Let the corruption continue.

most democrats would love to see them resign, even if their violations wouldn't warrent expulsion. there's no way dem leadership looks forward to an ongoing ethics investigation with the election 3 months away. you want to get the bad news off the front page all at once.

having this bleed out over the next few months plays into the republican narrative.

so you have it exactly backwards. if they were republicans, i'd want them to fight it out. as they're dems, i want them gone yesterday.

I thought that's why Rangel's charges were finally brought out of committee after 2 years - now that it's right before the election, it's good PR for the GOP.

(and yes, I think Rangel has to go)
