What is sad is this is nothing new. Obama's hope and change was all about this. Right now he is faulting banks on foreclosed properties when the mopes living there haven't made a payment in years. The mope lives free and the bank gets screwed. Then in one big love fest the bank raises service prices etc. to all of us so we can all feel the screw. I never thought one mope could effect so many.
The mope family likely missed their property tax bills as well. The Gov. could care less as they know they will get their $$$ plus interest from the new owner. In the meantime the taxpayers can make up the difference.

With few exceptions (some Sports, and the Arts) there is nothing that someone with 2 hands n' 2 feet can do (so well) that should result in them getting more than a few million bucks a year. Actually, horseracing is one of the few areas of the economy that is done right (in this regards.) The best jock, and the best trainers make about what? Don't they top out at about 2 mil? There are plenty of good jocks, n' good trainers that can do about the same job. Unfortunately, rich owners probably do pay them much more than this. Thankfully, the industry (on it's own) isn't doing well enough to spoil the "top" ones like these pig executives that cheat, and don't get properly punished at all. A couple of those AIG people shouldn't see the light of day ever again. I never once heard this lady say that we shouldn't have people making millions of dollars a year. She's talking about people making 50-100 million dollars a year while their companies pay no income tax (oil industry etc.) Companies getting thirty -fifty cents/ a gallon profit each time a poor person has to buy gas. That's the type of perversion that happens when the needle goes too far towards pure Capitalism (that sees nothing wrong with monopolies.) The Obama Presidency is about pulling that needle back away from going too far towards pure Capitalism. Last I saw, poor people are still paying 30-50 cents a gallon to oil companies that don't have to pay any income tax. So, he n' Pelosi have been horribly unsuccessful at doing what you're accusing them of wanting to do. If they lose their power, it's because they didn't do enough. Not because they did too much. The National Medical stuff should be in place in any country that has the possibility of drafting it's people to fight. Most civilized countries have this. That's not radical. It's only radical because we are in such an overly Capitalistic Country.

Like most members of Congress, Pelosi is a multi-millionaire. Mostly on the strength of her husband's portfolio of commercial real estate, the Pelosis' net worth is at least $25M and may be as high at $92M -- financial disclosure forms for federal officials report assets and liabilities in broad ranges, so the figure is difficult to pinpoint. The Pelosis own a small office building in San Francisco and another in the suburbs of Marin County, as well as millions of dollars in stock in Microsoft and AT&T, and a minority interest in Piatti Locali, a small chain of Italian restaurants in California. |

I read the other day her mother told her she could not be a priest according to church law so she decided to be a politician instead. So you can blame everything she does or does not do on Catholicism.

Nancy Pelosi is an embarrassment. Thankfully her bully pulpit is about to be pulled out from under her.

She is charitable though her and her husband thru their foundation saw fit to donate over 95% of it to just two charities, the San Francisco Symphony and Georgetown U, Mr. Pelosi's alma mater. Guess people who are hungry and or homeless can sit outside and kinda hear the concerts.

John Boehner isn't an embarrassment at all - we need more chain-smoking, too-much-time-off for golfing, malignant melanoma candidates running our world

And about the foreclosure situation in this country.....you do realize that when the banks were given free reign to securitize and bundle mortgages that it became an absolute, unregulated money grab.
And in the rush to seize as mucho dinero as possible, they simple said 'ooops' about doing the proper paperwork. The chain of assignment has been broken on 10s of 1000s of properties. Yours may be one of them..... This only comes to light because of people being run throught the foreclosure mill hastily, and when they ask the attorneys for the foreclosing bank to produce the promissory note in order to show proof of ownership, they can't in some cases. What does that mean? Well, if you bought a foreclosed propery in the last couple of years, it might actually not be yours, beacuase the bank that sold it to you may not have really owned it......... and with each assignment of the mortgage, fees are due to your county of residence. So if the assignments are not recorded propery, your county is getting screwed out of 1000s of dollars in fees. And furthermore, maybe your home is in one of the securities and you pay out your mortgage and/or decide to sell? Well, if the bank can't provide you with the note, then what do you have?

Get used to him? He's been around forever. It's pretty clear what we're getting.
