Except when one uses the free market to get hired on a contract with an employer, and that contract has certain provisions as to one's behaviour as an employee, that you agree to when you are hired, a good capitalist really shouldn't complain when those provisions are enforced
 NPR also publically this week said their news employees will not be attending Jon Stewart's "Rally to Restore Sanity" as attendees. They can go as reporters.

Being old enough to have witnessed NPR's birth, I'm glad it's there, it's done exactly what it has supposed to do for the past 40-odd years.

Today Williams got a 2 million-dollar contract with Fox News. Now he can keep talking about how seeing Muslims on planes scares him, to an audience that wants to hear that type of crap.
Seems Williams has found a more appropriate home.

Whatever, it's NPR's right to fire the guy, but there doesn't seem to be much cause and the psychiatrist comment by the NPR CEO is way beyond the pale, speaking of people who could probably use to get canned.
