Default Repubtards still don't get it

Pretty irritating to watch John the Situation Boehner and all the rest of the Republican leadership blabbing on and on about how last night's results say that people want 'less government'. No, you idiots. Maybe the New Klan Party says that's what they want, but the independents you won want government that does something. Big, small, medium-sized, get things done.

And you know what doesn't say that you're going to get things done? When your first order of business is ostensibly to dedicate all your resources to undoing something that was passed in the last two years. In what universe are you going to be able to repeal healthcare anyway? Are you going to rewrite the veto out of the Constitution? If any of you blackshirt republicans think the next two years are going to be any better, I've got a gun rack to sell you. We're all on our own.

Not what I said, was it? People hate gridlock, especially in a terrible economy. The republicans are promising nothing but more gridlock.

The democrats are worse than the republicans. It's o.k. to be scared. All Americans should be.

Great Point! If these idiots like Boner think he's just gonna sit back and let them shoot down all that he's accomplish, despite their TOTAL opposition they are living on another planet!

You're smarter than that. What I said was they care way less about the size of the government than it's efficiency.

Whether they can repeal it in the next 2 years is a different question from whether they can repeal it ever....As for the direction of the country, it is right down the tubes with another jolt of jungle juice coming at 2:15 today when my avatar defaces our currency a little more with his dickheaded QE2 announcement....It will all be over soon.

Uh. Efficiency tends to improve when the size of a government, organizations, etc. are scaled down. And with the track record of our government it's painfully obvious that expansion would only make things worse.

If the White House and Congress don't actually start having dialogue to get things done, they'll all be out in two years, trust me. Inaction is poison to Americans right now, especially with this economy.

this election was more of statement against Obama & Pelosi than it was for the republicans.

nobody in their right mind can think the direction of the past 2 year.. 4 year for that matter.. has been a good thing.

repubs need to come through on cutting spending (and yes, joey, the majority of america wants to cut down on spending). they cant just go through the motions if they expect to remain in office.

What are they going to do? Repeal all of the free trade agreements and put the common folk back to work?

The damage has already been done. Obama sat on his hands for 22 months and was more concerned about the banks than the average American.

What is more important? A job or health care for all?

Book smarts but no common sense. That isn't change, it's par for the course for our politicians.

Fair enough, but the message should be that we're going to accomplish specific things within the system as well, not that we're simply going to get rid of sh it and see what happens. There's no plan from republicans, I'd be worried about their 'agenda' if they had one other than riling up racists and being as much of a pain in the ass to Obama as possible.

gridlock is what this country was founded on. it would be stupid if everything had a free pass through congress. the founding fathers created this system to create gridlock.

progressives dont like gridlock because they want an unlimited credit card.

It's pretty funny how you always read things the way you want to read them. No one's talking about free passes. You made that up.

Democrats lost independents and democrats because they feel nothing got accomplished the first two years. This is my point. There's no republican plan for anything. It's essentially 'let's make rich people richer again and stop healthcare.' And the ever ambiguous 'cutting spending.' Often by recommending tax cuts. Which still makes no sense. That's not going to win them anything in 2012, sorry.

pretty sure jobs and lowering the deficit are the two main things on republicans minds...

but you can read things the way you want to read them of course. i dont agree with anything in your second paragraph. its the liberal equivalent of birther and obama is a muslim speak.

You're so bad at equivalents it's crazy.

What's the republican plan for creating jobs and lowering the deficit? What are they going to do that Obama hasn't done? I'd really like to know.
