Obama's Trip Yields Quick Results
Wow that was quick.
Harley-Davidson, the iconic American motorcycle brand with a cult-like following, has announced it has chosen to build its second assembly plant ever outside the United States in India. "What we are doing is made in USA, assembled in India, which will have a positive job effect back home which is why we are driving this investment as quickly as we are," Anoop Prakash managing director for Harley Davidson India told CNN http://articles.cnn.com/2010-11-04/w...na?_s=PM:WORLD We'll have to wait to hear the Rezko-like explaination on how this provides more American jobs.

The cost of the trip alone is insulting.

He should have made a trip to Wisconsin and Harley Davidson. His next stop is Indonesia. Wonder who's moving there?

This trip sure has yielded quick results. Hasn't the national debt gone up because of the cost of this trip. He should of went to Mexico and kissed his buddy Calderon's ass. Lot cheaper to go to Mexico than to India. Wonder if Obama has learned anything since he got the big f you with Tuesday's Election results.

The Harley Davidson story is a very good example how things are going at the moment. I am curious if there will be more jobs in the US in the long term. Can't really imagine that there will be a positive effect on US jobs that will hold for more than a few years.

If Obama wanted to visit a foreign country, why not just go to California?
He speaks Spanish, right? |

Meanwhile we have newly-elected GOP governors canceling in-progress high-speed rail projects in their states. America falls further and further behind in the world.

Let's see how much further we fall behind the world when we cancel all foreign aid. We'll see how many luxuries like high-speed rail those guys can afford when they don't get our money, nor our protection via our armed forces.

Joey: name the top three things the United States manufactures or produces (other than indignation)

Your right we should allow the government to force us to build a "high" speed rail system from Milwaukee to Madison that will be slower than using a car and that will end up costing ridiculous amounts of $ because it will not support itself. Not to mention the fact that our lovely governor doyle gave the no bid contract to a company from Spain and didn't even give local WI companies a shot to bid the contract. High speed rail is exactly what we need here! Thank god for Scott Walker telling the government the way it is. Give us the $ for real things needed like fixing the exisiting highways that people actually use. If your roof is leaking in your house would you spend your money on a vaction instead of fixing your roof?
