Default Secretariat in Time Warner 'Look Back' ad

May have just been a regional ad during Super Bowl, (Time Warner cable channel feature 'Look Back'), but they used Secretariat Belmont footage in it. Just as half ended. Was that National?

Not on in the South. I did wish racing had ads like Nascar did, I've seen at least 3. Glad there was at least a little somewhere. If the game was on NBC, they might've used it to promote the Derby on one of their network bumpers for NBC Sports.

Come to think of it, someone should've done an ad with Zenyatta. I bet they could've done a great one. She's a big beautiful horse. It could've been majestic, funny, whatever...surely there's a company that'd use her as a feature. I had to look at Joan Rivers for pete's sake.

Didn't see the ad either.

I saw the Secretariat Disney movie when I had the flu a month ago.

Laffit Pincay had to be sick - whoever played Sham's jockey looked like he was either trying to pull him up or jump off in the Preakness.

I watched it last week and was surprised with how both Pincay and Frank Martin were portrayed. Otherwise, I thought it was good.

I paid the 3.99 and cried. I wonder why she didnt take the 8mil from phipps? 8mil in 1973 was a good 30plus mil in 2011 dollars.

Would've been untoward to have Sham's alter ego beat Secretariat by accident. I still wish Baffert had been able to get Haskin's equine namesake to the Disney people in time. Supposedly the spitting image of Secretariat. I'd love to see a picture of him.

Just saw the commerical on Time Warner local cable, I guess it's for their "look back" option for digital cable package
