Default Nakatini + Balleto = ummmm???

Just read that Nak is riding her in the BC Distaff. Nak is the perfect rider for her IMO, I had no idea this was going to happen, QUITE interesting now

I'm sure there's no one with the same namesake on here that will be rooting for her lol...

Nakatani. He's adequate. He never got out of Wilko what Dettori got out of him, but he's adequate...

I'll let her beat me in p3's and p4's, no way can I use her in a win spot...I see this BC as a Spain and Carressing repeat for the Distaff and especially the Juvy Fillies, bombs away...No way can Nakatani move her up for a win...

So you don't think that some jocks 'fit' horses? You know as well as I do that her fastest could win this race, I don't dispute her hanging type with you one bit.

Listen to Point G Scav, hes right.
I have never once in my life bet a horse just because a particular jock is on it. I will refuse to bet one because a certain jock is on one, but never the opposite, do you hear what I am saying.
That "fitting" stuff is nothing more than a romanticized notion that is clung to by sports writers who don't know any better and degenerate gamblers who want desperately to believe in such bull****.

Hooves I am telling you that. I think that when you are deaing with a top jock, the difference is subtle. I never used jock handicapping for anything other than tossing out a horse who had an absolute horror show jock on his orher back, and even then it doesn't scare me sometimes. I am telling you that. But to each his own, jock handicapping is how soem like to play the game.

not me, I couldn't tell you who is riding them half of the time...

imho, Jockeys can't win a race, but they can lose it, but the horse can overcome even mild incompetence if he's the best...

I should clarify, it's my belief, but a belief I obtained from one of Beyer's Books...

Only if I think the horse has a shot, its sure not gonna make me play the horse if I don't like him.

Hooves why would I admit something if I don't do it?
I play horses before I play jockeys.
I will play a horse on a blind trainer switch angle though, that i will do!!!

I'll have no problem throwing out Spun Sugar in the Distaff because of Mike Luzzi.

Yeah, that will be why she loses.......Luzzi.

He certainly blew the ride on her in the Go for Wand.

Here's a hint...you know you're on the right track when you bet a horse, the horses are loading in the gate, and you have to look down at your form or program to see who's riding your horse.

Sounds good to me, blackthroat. Put your $ on Spun Sugar. Luzzi's horrendous judge of pace and inability to get a horse to relax give this horse no shot in this race. There's a reason why he's never won a BC race, and rarely even gets a mount for that matter even though he's based in New York year round.

First of all, my friend, I never said I was betting Spun Sugar, and had you carefully read what I wrote you would have seen that I was suggesting that when Spun Sugar loses it won't be Luzzi's fault.

I also never said that Luzzi is a GREAT rider, though I happen to think he rides just fine, and if he had the mounts that John Velasquez has his win totally would be at most negigibly less.

The real point of my post is that people who waste time overly worrying about who is riding a horse are also losing bettors at the racetrack. Of that I have no doubt.
