Bulginbaah was officially retired today.
This gelding epitomised the term 'warrior'. He had 91 starts for 22 wins and 27 second and third placings. He won nine stakes races and was twice G1 placed. Happy retirement, old boy.

Very happy to see him retired and wishing him a very long and happy life. So the Foxbridge... can that be renamed for him at this point?  He had won that one how many times? * Happy days... This brought tears to my eyes.
The only one on this board who can pay her proper tribute is you, ed, but I will add that she's one of the best horses I've ever had the good fortune to see albeit only in replays. Beautiful beautiful champion.. it's been really exciting following her and I'll miss seeing her name entered and wondering who she's gonna be beating next. I guess it was time... So surprised though. Cheers to Miss Katie Lee. One of the best. (Damn).
