Default Carryover Heaven

Nothing beats having carryovers at both Hollywood and Belmont on a Wednesday. Extra couple of days to go over the pp's and numbers. Neither looks particularly easy.

Hey Oracle. I agree, I looked at Hollywoods and it looks very difficult. Even more difficult now that Oneal's barn is in detention for 15 days do to a postitive bicarbinate testing.......no idea which way his are going to run now.

Very hard, just spent some more time on both of them and while they aren't impossible, there are few standouts. I'm thinking of going very light early at Belmont and spreading out later. I like that rat Bronxdale in the first leg at Belmont. The rest are even worse than him. I dont like the Morrison horse off the long layoff and Meeses is being rushed back quickly.

Make sure to include Rumspringa in your tickets. Might want to even single him.

As a matter of fact that race is the biggest nightmare on the card. They all could win. I have that race as an "all" right now. Its harder than any race on the card. Awesome Twist is a tossout on a dry track but since hes coupled with Royal moment who can win, geez. That race is giving me fits.

They have Stormy Kiss going tomorrow too but not as part of the Pick 6. I would go against Tagg's non-Lael horse Dave. Ashkal Way is a tremendous horse.

Dave is just as fast as Ashkal and has to be used. His two races since being switched to Tagg are very nice. Third in the cycle, one month off after his last. I like Dave the best of anyone to be honest with you. I also like McLaughlins horse .

That is why you win pik 6's and I stick with bets like the grand slam. I hope Tagg wins with that horse but still think Rumspringa is his winner tomorrow. Maybe he wins all three.

Well I like dave better than Rumspringa. In Rum's last Jerkens had a horse whgo was favored named Bernie White Shoes who just never ran a step and who was supposed to at least press the pace a little. When Bernie didn't fire, Rumspringa was loose and gone. I realize that the third place finisher came back on won on saturday(Satsoof) but I don't like Rum being rushed back so quickly off a huge effort and could easily see him regressing. That race is so very hard.

I thought Bernie White Shoes was going to be a star when he beat Barclays other gelding named Polished Arrow. Rumspringa is the real deal. BC Sprint in his future.

I think so. I know he was off for a long time and I think that he was gelded during his time away from the races.

That would be quite good info to have. I remember his win teh day after the BC at delaware because I played his race. He shocked me by showing guts and not hanging. I keep my DRF's to look up such things and don't have that day's DRF. he wasn't announced last time but they dont have to announce it as long as the DRF and program have it correct. It would be quite good info to know. It may change my opinion on him. I still have him labled as the hanging slug he used to be and they may not be accurate if he has had the ultimate equipment change.

I just want to give my two cents worth.... and you guys are much better cappers than me. With that said,
In the 8th, Frank L puts in Red Crusader. You can say I'm crazy but I think he's an overlooked trainer. In the right spot, he's very dangerous.
In the 9th, Carlos M enters Mister Zee for Flying Zee. Looks likely to me.

I would check anything I say. I know he is a gelding but maybe he was last year too.

ORACLE(or anybody)got an opinion about Nakatani riding Bear in the Woods(instead of Unfurl The Flag.)He must be pretty sure that Unfurl the Flag isn't gunna win(if it does ,he won't get that mount back.)Maybe he is just going with the REDDAM because he has a lot of good mounts to give him.

Actually, I saw the Unfurl owner on the dmtc.com board say that he thinks he could need a race, but that he is training well and he loves hollywood. Also, this is strange race cause there isnt a lot of early speed.....Flag, Pure as Gold (he will be in the watch barn though), and Premium Saltine. I thought the same thing, weird for Cnak to jump but you may be on to something with the connections loyalty cause I dont give Bear a shot.
