Woody Payne reports that despite having to interupt drill pattern because of frequent muddy conditions, Corybant is training very nicely towards his move to the racetrack. The Johannesberg gelding is a turf horse, so as the spring approaches, he'll head to Belmont in anticipation of grass season. After being gelded and waiting out typical 2yo shin issues, Corybant has caught on nicely according to Woody and he thinks he's going to be a very pleasant surprise considering how difficult he was early on last year.
(A quick Spondulix update... The Rockport Harbor colt is growing agonozingly slowly, but Woody has him in light training. He hopes to have him ready for the track by summer.)

Thanks, Steve. Good news about Corybant. Hopefully, Spondulix is a late-bloomer.
