Thoughts on today's performance? And what 4/7 prep makes the most sense?

Missed the race but he's one of my few Derby horses left.
I'm worried about turning into the female RHT (in terms of jinxing) (oh meant with affection of course) so you all have been warned. It's great to hear he looked so good. |

It was another Pletcher Florida freak show. He'll likely never get a softer setup, and he capitalized on it. I'll be eagerly awaiting his next start, where he'll be ridiculously overbet.

It certainly looked too easy to have given him any bottom. Other than that he certainly seems a nice horse.

Who will ride him assuming he starts in the derby?

I wonder if 3 weeks is enough time to recover of this monsterous effort, to make the Wood at AQ.
Or does he opt for the Illinois Derby? |

He only has $103k in graded earnings, so they better not get too cute with finding a spot for him. I hope passing on the 500K rebel to avoid a van ride and bigger field was worth it.

good way to start the year, where ever he runs next does not matter, he will crush them and go to The Derby undefeated and hopefully come out of The Derby the same way

I'm also worried about the need to get more graded earnings.
That said, a lot of positive angles seem to be in play her, imo Derby is third off layoff, love classic pedigree, positive previous cd race, late start to 3 year old racing, trainer has won derby previously and the form seems to have translated well into the 3 year old season so far. I have used liberally in the first two future pools (with cc and ur) so I'm hoping he continues to progress. |

It's crazy, Freddy. Even Stat ran a big race yesterday.

That was an ok group of Turfers, he isnt suppose to be 8 lengths best even with a modest half. I really hope this act doesnt travel to NY.

And that horse was a POS. Its getting out of control. I might just stick to playing NY.
