Default Good missive by Moran re: animal rights crowd

http://espn.go.com/horse-racing/stor...ding-tolerance

No domestic animal is treated with more attention to detail than a racehorse, whose role in life demands constant veterinary care, nutrition, training, grooming, therapy and, in most cases, acupuncture and chiropractic attention. Their career lives are not unlike those of human professional athletes, mansions and expensive cars notwithstanding. Those involved in their development and management shoulder great expense and sometimes lengthy tests of patience.

The same Joe Drape that the "industry" geniuses can't wait to give eclipse awards to.

Well, in his defense, what is he supposed to fill his days with before the drugs article he's gonna come out with during the Triple Crown? Positive things about horse racing? C'mon Steve. Since when do such things exist?

it's too bad that writing such as this from Moran gets read only by fans, while drape and others like him get a massive audience for their articles.
