Default Your attention please.. 2012 Year End Award noms!

While the 2012 posting season at DerbyTrail.com has yet to conclude, we would like to open this ballot for voting now...since we're about to board a Bermuda bound yacht decked with the most salacious female forms imaginable, as well as an array of discreet gentlemenly leisures, and of course a stockpile of debonair distillates to quench our never-ending thirst of mankind's most sophisticated spirits. We work hard. We play SO much harder.

Without further ado...the categories for the 2012 DerbyTrail.com Year-end Byk awards.

Thread of the Year

Outstanding Male Poster

Outstanding Female Poster

Mush of the Year

Poster who needs to have his keyboard smashed with a 9-iron

Most Underrated Poster

Best Handicapping Thread

The SniperSB23 Memorial Award for most solid poster to walk away in 2012. (Protest votes for those who have been darted are also allowed)

Nominate away, gang.

Outstanding Male Poster

Cannon Shell (In terms of message boarding consistency - even death and taxes fear this guy. Not a day goes by when the DT faithful isn't treated to a well thought out post from CS in virtually every folder. Hard to give it to the equally prolifc Dahoss for the simple fact that he's had better years in the past.

Cannon Shell is Tom the Monkey from Pace Advantage...with a more girlish figure and a trainers license.

Outstanding Female Poster

I love me some Nicole sisters. Sightseek has had better years and GenuineRisk is like the mermaid in a sewer over in the Politics folder. GR wins it.

Mush of the Year

RHT's mush of Port Conway Lane's hypothetical pick 4 ticket in the final four Breeders Cup Races.

Poster who needs to have his keyboard smashed with a 9-iron

Pedigree Ann. The dam of Handicapper Ernie

Most Underrated Poster

RolloTomasi

Best Handicapping Thread

My failed and badly rushed attempt to pick 1k straight defeated horses was a unique thread. I'll go with that.

Do these types of threads add any value to the quality of this board? Clearly not. Self indulgent immature boy band wanna bees are just that.

Don't be that stresser.

I'm telling you, it's only a matter of time until dead bodies start appearing in the infield at Finger Lakes.

When you've got Richard one-starring your threads and pretending to be the arbiter of quality thread topics... you know you're doing something right.

Everybody knows I'm only a figure-head CEO ... the real movers, shakers, and decision-makers who make up The New Team are partying their ass off on a yacht right now. They won't be pleased about this development when they come out of their inebriated state about four days from now.

This is a William F. Buckley moment. Calzone Lord, or whatever your moniker is, you have disqualified yourself from any employment consideration of value in horse racing. That is based on your own assinine and insulting conduct on this board. You are toast. I am sure the prestigious posters on this board are eager for your departure.

Ok, so...

First you're the arbiter of quality thread topics -- and now you're the arbiter of rational conduct?

Tears, Jerry, tears.

Well, at least we know if you laughed and thought about something today, you had a full day...a heck of a day.
