Arguably the greatest country of all time. I have gone to many concerts the only concert my entire family attended together, was George Jones back in the early 80's. One of the greatest songs in the history of music of any genre in my opinion is "He Stopped Loving Her Today" by The Possum George Jones. Condolences to Nancy his wife and family. Very sad passing, a true legend. RIP

A legend! Wonder if he's keeping St. Peter waiting for him to show up at the pearly gates. RIP.

George Jones turned me into a country music fan big time..My wife grew up with that music and i'd tell her 'why you listening to that crap'...Then i started watching CMT and heard him sing several songs and got hooked on him and country music...over the years have a long list of favs...mostly females but George is at the top...RIP and keep singing up there...
