Default what would you rather be on thanksgiving?

sure it's a push poll with the only available options supporting a particular point of view. but you should be used to that in this forum.

so are you a shopper or a decent human being?

I know a fireman who 'volunteers' to work Thanksgiving to avoid his in-laws. As he puts it better food, watching football while eating (that goes all day not just when someone declares dinner is served) and far better company.

Funny thing is he does it to have Friday off starting at 6AM, to take his girls mega shopping on the Mag Mile and for high tea at the Peninsula Hotel.

I avoid Black Friday because of people like the fireman, his daughters and the rest of the crazy shoppers. Besides I have to work.

I worked 7pm Thursday night til 7am Friday morning. Our store was completely bumrushed when we opened our doors for business. We stayed open for 26 straight hours. I can't complain. It's the business I choose.
