2/8: Gulfstream (6th-12th); Santa Anita (4th-9th)
Glad I came back for another quad pass at Santa Anita Friday as three straightforward events and the open finale produced a nice 5-1 return. Focusing on the top 2 candidates in the 5th-7th (Friendswith K Mill, Fury Kapcori, Magic Spot) made getting to the more open nightcap easy. In a bad maiden race where the faves looked utterly beatable, leaning on 12-1 ML second timer Dream Baby as a salient alternative tripped the $305 P4 off a $16.40 win mutuel. The result helped make up for the agonizing Sagebrush Queen beat Thursday. Hope everyone did well. Great weekend on tap!
