He will always excel in games where defense isnt required.

What I'm seeing though, is why guys like James and Bryant and Jordan are superstars while Irving is just super talented. Superstars don't get bored. They don't take nights off. No matter how bad their teams are, they are bringing it every night.
This is correct. Plus real stars play both sides of the ball.

This is delusional.

He doesn't even start for the team he is on now.

Waiters is an athletic player with talent but his flaws are painfully obvious. He could be the next Lance Stevenson (talented former malcontent that focused on playing role on team and is excelling on boards and defense and is about to get paid in free agency)
But he'd rather be a low rent World B Free

5th in the East is very good?

The delusional part is thinking that Bynum coming off an injury that forced him to miss an entire year and gain 80 pounds would become a star. Or that Waiters or Thompson or Bennett could ever be stars.

I thought Bynum was hungry for more then just food. Bennett and Waiters will both be fine in the league, your wrong about both of them if you think they wont have long, solid, possibly all star careers. Thompson is also rock solid. He averages 12 and 10. The key is, he is 22 years old. He has 5 years to improve then another 5 years to be in his prime.

Nice of the NBA to give 'The Servant' and his team a full week off, while other teams come back from the All Star break with back to backs on Tues and Wed.

Cleveland goes no worst then 20-10 in the second half and makes the playoffs. Nothing special, I know, but they will get there act together. Another strong team effort tonight and another good effort from Bennett.

Melo up to old tricks. 8 for 21. Hardaway Jr going to be the Knicks best draft pick in 10 years. He will be an All Star in 2 years.

They have 28 games left.

They play OKC 2 times, Miami, Indiana, Houston, SA, at GS, at Phx, at Clippers, at Memphis. and Toronto 3 times.

Even giving starting them off at 2-0 the odds of them going no worse than 20-10 are pretty remote. 15-15 would be a monumental achievement.

Being the Knicks best draft pick of the last 10 years is a low bar. David Lee would easily be the best.
