Michigan state and Louisville are doomed

The Tennessee/Iowa winner will stomp out UMass.

Harvard has a good shot to beat Cincinnati and if Xavier beats NC State I like them over St. Louis. I'd also give North Carolina Central a look against Iowa State.

I think all of the 4-seeds will make it through.

I think your spot on here. They gave them the #1 seed and then punished them with the brutal bracket. I still think they come out and go 40-0.

I think Iowa makes it to the second round. Are we doing a bracket challenge thing here on Derbytrail???

You don't like either of those teams to get to the championship? Do you think your team has a shot at making it all the way?

Our team is in trouble. Even though they somehow managed to get the easiest of the 4 brackets.

Not a chance.
There are no teams without major flaws and these two are carrying the weight of every wanna be expert in existence.

If AZ is clicking on offense and doing a decent job at the line they are the best team in the country. However they often go through droughts where they just cant get an easy basket and have struggled from the line all year. We have seen in previous years the pitiful NCAA refs call way too many fouls and for AZ that works against them because they are an aggressive defensive team and the poor FT shooting. They are far better off if the refs let them play because they score in transition and dont have to shoot FT's.

Van Gundy made the comment early in the Hou/Miami game yesterday about how he can barely watch college games because of how wildly inconsistent the refs are.

I thought AZ did great in the draw. They have already beaten SD St who isnt playing great, Ok State relies on guards scoring which plays directly to AZ's strength. Wisconsin is the worst #2 seed and I dont think they get through Oregon. Creighton, Oklahoma, Gonzaga, Baylor arent scary teams.

That being said...

I hope Kentucky wins today. They match up so well with Louisville.

Plus it would make this tournament somewhat interesting. Just not that interested in seeing Louisville slap Wichita State around and make them cry.

Gotta love Wildcats v. Blue Devils championship game!

Yes, I doubt that this will hold. Too many games left before Selection Sunday... Oh, someone is going for 3-peat in pick em contest too.
As Jerry Reed sang it, "When you're hot, you're hot, and when you're not, you're not". He sang about crap game which resembles my basketball bracket so far! Plus, Nova 'crapped out' last night. I had them in Final Four.

Well, there is always next year...

my Cats seemed to reach full potential last night. If they keep it up they will be dangerous. And by Cats I mean Arizona, not those ****ers from Kentucky.

Now the predicament. Lousville is fake and will be exposed. Can Kentucky keep the momentum going ? history says no. (Kansas over S.ILL. in '07). If they are good enough to beat WSU, their A game will beat anyone.

P.S Baylor will trounce Wisky. Them and Sparty look likw the best 2 right now

Spartans are going down on Friday. Baylor had the benefit of playing a team that expended their energy to make the tournament (Nebraska) and a team that no one considered a legitimate contender (Creighton).

Wisconsin will be a brutal matchup for the Bears.

My final four Virginia-Florida-Arizona-Kentucky

Virginia-Kentucky final.

Kentucky wins

Nice job Kevin Ollie! I remember listening to this guy his final year on the Thunder at a season ticket holder thing, and all he wanted to do was coach. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
