The First Lady of Nigeria is claiming this never happened. It is all a ruse perpetrated by the terrorists, and in fact has had 2 of the protesters arrested.

How pitiful it is that the plight of a female law student seeking subsidized birth control or $30 bucks a month would be afforded hundreds of times the media coverage compared to these poor girls?

By the way, Nigeria and the first lady's husband recently passed some of the world's most barbaric anti-gay laws but I suppose as long as a gay couple can force a baker to make them a cake in AZ we'll keep our collective mouths shut about that as well.

Boko Haram strikes again:

http://www.cnn.com/2014/05/07/world/...rls/?hpt=wo_c2

I'm patiently waiting for all of the "non-violent, peace-loving Muslims" to globally speak out against this outrage and employ international fund-raising activities to bring these criminals to justice.

That's how it work's right? If a terror sect violates the fabric of society in the name of your religion, you are supposed to defend the peace loving nature of your religion by denouncing it, forcefully and vocally, right?

If not, then by extension you are agreeing with said action, and thus complicit - correct?

So we should logically assume that the crickets you are hearing from the Islamic community about not only this, but the myriad of other atrocities perpetrated in the name of Islam is, in reality, veiled consent.

100% agree with you however I think they are just fearful of harm that will come to their families if they do speak out.

The Counsel on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) issued a sternly worded paragraph to announce their displeasure:

http://www.digitaljournal.com/pr/1895621

Which you have to assume they had a gun to their head (metaphorically speaking of course) to do so.

How about acting on it? How about actually showing the world that your religion will not tolerate this behavior? how about uniting across the globe to show the world that this behavior does not represent tenets Islam?

Quran (2:191-193) - "And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief] is worse than killing...

but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone. But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun (the polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.)"
