ROI Results 7/4 @ Belmont

3 players provided the fireworks on the 4th of July at Belmont and the other 9 were firing duds. Don
cashed a ticket but missed the points board. Finishing in third was our firecracker points scorer
Plenilune who made a small profit on Matrooh in the 4th. Getting the number two spot on Saturday
was Indian Hemp who hit a trifecta and a superfecta in race 10 worth $239 and change. A dead heat
in race 10 showed how close a race can be. A nose bob one way would probably have given Indian
Hemp the win. A nose bob the other way and Indian Hemp would have lost his super. The 4th of July
wasn't that hot at Belmont but the Island Hopper Cruzan sure was. Mr. 200246 returned refreshed and
$233 to the good by nailing Force the Pass in the Belmont Invitational Derby. Congrats on the win
