ROI Results 10/3 @ Pimlico
Preakness Day despite being in October this year provided us with a lot of exciting finishes and
a lot of good racing. In addition it also provided us with some decent profits and two players finally getting some ROI Points after two forgettable weeks. As usual a few longer than long longshots derailed a few players bets. Cruzan hit a nice horse in race 10 but fell $5 short of making a profit. Finishing in second place via the trifecta route in race 9 was Real Quiet who caught a $125 buck trifecta 5 times for a profit of $426. Twasn't close though as Plenilune zoomed on by in races 11 and 12 and in the process nailed our first $1000 buck profitable day this year. Inquiring minds want to know if Plen woke up on Preakness morning and said "I feel good, I feel strong" because she ran like the layoff suited her just fine. Starting with the Preakness Stakes in race 11 Plen put $50 to win and place on the filly Swiss Skydiver. In an exciting finish Swiss Skydiver gave Jane more than enough cash to take this weeks contest but she wasn't done. She also put $50 on the nose of the Arabian Paddys Day and the double digit payout of $15 returned to her another $375. In total Plenilune made a profit of $1020 and ran away with the Preakness Stakes.Congrats on the win Plen. Nicely played. Following are the unofficial results pending any objections. See you all next week where I assume we might be at Belmont barring a bad weather forecast which at the moment looks unlikely. WIN...
