ROI Results 4/13 @ Keeneland

The last prep race before the Derby provided the group with some stellar prices and produced
a new high score for the year and a new overall leader. Two players nailed the $53+ winner in
race 9 and of course they finished one two. In addition we saw a pretty competitive Lexington
and it appears the winner Encino will join the Derby field. Cal finishes 4th and Real Quiet 3rd.
Both hit the 7th race exacta with RQ getting the nod with an extra buck on the $21.46 mutuel.
Some days those returns would be winners but both RQ and Cal were distanced. Cruzan and
Ruffian both played Beaute Cachee in the 9th and were rewarded with identical totals of $671.
The issue that Cruzan had was that Ruff already had a $30.92 winner in her pocket from race
3 and a healthy $400+ lead. Great picks by both Ruff and Cruzan. Nicely played on win #4
Ruffian and kudos on your $30 and $53 winners. In addition you become the new overall ROI
leader and posted the first $1000+ winning day. We are already 19 weeks into our year and
the Triple Crown is looming large. Following are the unofficial results the "way I see em". Of
course I don't see so well anymore so "check em at the door". There is some good racing
coming up this weekend just not Derby preps so I'll see you somewhere next Saturday as
we try to run down the Rampaging Ruffalo.
