Roots, the equine version
Well, Sumwon never went through a Fasig-Tipton or Keeneland (well, I had to check, anyway ) sale, other than the time Chuck purchased her from R & G Stables LLC this year.
Her dam, Mysterious Moll, was at Classic Star LLC in KY. Moll was sold in the Classic Star dispersal at the November Selected Mixed Sale at Fasig-Tipton KY November 5, 2006, for $67,000 to Jack Werk, agent. As Sumwon is listed as bred by Classic Star, I imagine then that she was sold privately off the farm here in KY. I doubt she was pinhooked, but you never know. Who knows where she was broken and trained before coming to R & G, who raced her. The best thing might be that, if somebody here knows Pinzon at Turfway, to simply ask
