SAT - CD, CRC, & HAW Action
Churchill Downs
R7 - Alw52.5KN3L #1 Gem Sleuth - She's won off a break and her best race came at CD this summer. Kennally/Leparoux 27% for the year. #2 Jersey Bond - She's also raced well at CD for Asmussen. #6 Chatham - Will try to last on the front end for Stewart. R8 - Alw50KN1X #3 Referee - Pletcher $1.2 Mil purchase didn't care much going two turns. Back to back solid works and should get a nice stalking trip behind the pace setters. #2 Stevil - Zito grey came through in debut at odds on and the stretchout will only help. #8 Unbridled Vicar - Tafel homebred just missed versus winners at KEE on 10/14 and makes 1st start on conventional dirt. R9 - G2 Mrs. Revere #13 Costume (GB) - Looks to turn the tables on #3 Bit of Whimsy and gets a 6lbs break to help the cause. Very nice workout last Saturday tells me she's ready to fire a big one for Frankel. #11 Cat Charmer - Improving filly for Motion looks to take another step up at a square price. #6 Bel Air Beauty - Daughter of hot sire Smart Strike looks to validate her G3 win. #3 Bit of Whimsy - She's done little wrong, but she might regress a bit. R10 - MSW48K #4 Buddakhan - Asmussen doesn't work them hard in the mornings, but still wins at a 20% clip with 1sters. #9 Holy Roman Empire - Blinks come on after failing as the favorite last out at KEE. Guidry's last ride before retirement as a jock. #11 Mambo in Seattle - Made a nice late run in debut and the extra distance seems well within his scope. PK4 - 1 2 6 with 2 3 8 with 11 13 with 3 9 11 = $54 Calder Race Course R8 - Appleton Turf #8 Big Al - Standbridge/Trujillo J/T combo are 35% for the year. Yes, he's still a maiden, which might help the price. He had two very nice tries on the lawn at the SPA this summer at the same distance. He didn't care for the main track in either start and is packing bullets in the morning for this. R9 - Heubeck Distaf #3 Peach Flambe - Henning ships in with filly that has not been worse than 2nd this year in 5 starts. #2 Annabill -Prado seems fit to hop aboard filly that likes to take her photo. Distance ? #5 Cat Can Do - Ziadie filly looks to reel them in late. R10 - Bonnie Heath Turf Cup #10 Revved Up - Old timer has kept top company and has never been worse than 2nd in 3 career starts at CRC. #8 Jet Propulsion - Capable of taking them a long way on the front end. #1 Soldier's Dancer - Loves CRC and crushed the competition in the Calder Derby last out. #5 Magic Mecke - Super consistent runner finished 2nd in last year's running. R11 - Carl Rose Handicap #3 Electrify - I'm expecting him to bounce back with a top performance in this event. PK4 - 8 with 2 3 5 with 1 5 8 10 with 3 = $12 Hawthorne R6 - OC40K/N3X Turf #8 Come On Jazz - Has held his own versus tougher and should handle this group. #2 Scaramouche - Just missed by a nose versus similar. #5 Dynareign - Might want to go a bit further, but should hit the board. #10 Snapphok - Ill bred has shown some guts facing open company. SCR $1 Tri Key 8 over 2 5 10 and $1 Tri P/W 2 5 10 with 8 with 2 5 10 = $12 Good Racing Luck
