10/12: Belmont ($161k C/O)
Took a Saturday hiatus which resulted in two terrific outcomes... First, Belmont produced a series of bombs that created today's $161,000 double carryover. Second, Gus Alonso, who visits the ATR Weekend Preview weekly, had his 'Saturday Action' featured solo on the Show's website and delivered the huge score of crazily overlaid Strait of Mewsina in the Hawthorne Derby. He also gave you EVERYTHING else:
R7 - G3 Hawthorne Derby #7 Strait of Mewsina - Has run well lately; favorable trip.. #3 Adriano - Holds a huge class edge.. #2 Cherokee Triangle - Back in good form.. #6 Snoose Goose - Productive summer; Can prove he belongs.. 7 Strait of Mewsina 41.40 14.20 13.60 2 Cherokee Triangle 7.00 7.40 6 Snoose Goose 12.80 3 Adriano $1 Exacta (7-2) Paid $129.70 $1 Trifecta (7-2-6) Paid $1,105.20 $1 Superfecta (7-2-6-3) Paid $2,248.20 Gus loved this horse and made sense of the rest of the oddball group to offer you a chance to pad your Breeders' Cup bankroll. Congratulations and great job as usual from Gus! Big carryover pot at Belmont today and well worth chasing on what should be the second of three beautiful Holiday Weekend afternoons...
