Default The utter stupidity in Gaza

"The siege is continuing for six months, and people are suffering, but no one talks of giving up," said Sami Abu Zohri, a Hamas representative in Gaza. "We have no other options but to wait until the siege is over. Gaza lives in the darkness like something in ancient times."
Zohri said the rocket attacks into Israeli territory were "efforts to protect ourselves with very limited armaments."
"Hamas has led us into a dark tunnel. The way out is not clear," said Maher Megdad, a Fatah spokesman here.

How the fc k does randomly firing rockets into a country that has tanks and artillery all around your border protect anyone? You know what happens when a rocket is fired. Retaliation in the area where it was fired from which is of course around women and children.

So while everyone concentrates on other parts of the world, Gaza suffers. Hamas, the democratically elected party, refuses to recognize Israel which gave up the occupation and elections finally took place. Gaza has a chance... Right on the Med. Sea, they got ports so they can easily have commerce. So they go and elect Hamas knowing they would lose aid from the US and other countries; Knowing that Israel would blockade the coast. Unbelievable. Hamas is causing the death and destruction of what it calls its own people. Puppets of Iran and Syria, sacrificed like dogs. Where is the uprising from those who dont want to die for Allah and the destruction of Israel? This is what happens when extremists take over and they are not countered by the rational and humane part of a population.

What madness. Just sacrifice the people of Gaza in return for international attention that is not happening.
